Although, troubleshooting is a very vast topic and cannot be closed in one page. There are 300 plus commands, 50 Plus configurations files, and 40 plus log files in Esxi however maximum issues can be resolved through the below Logs files.
·        vmksummary.log :
·        Boot.gz.log
·        Vmware.log
·        Vmkernal.log
·        Hostd & Hostd-Probe.log
·        Vobd.log

To review errors in the logs file :
cat /var/log/vmkernal.log | grep error
To review any log
Display Logs for specific Time/Date :
[root@Esxi03:/var/log] cat hostd.log | egrep "^2024-02-25T16:03:24.061Z"
To display first 15 lines of the log file
[root@Esxi03:/var/log] tail -n 15 vmkernel.log
[root@Esxi03:/var/log] cat hostd.log | grep "failed"
